Julius Gottlieb, Buckingham Properties

Julius is the MD of Buckingham Properties, a boutique private real estate investor. Julius was previously Head of Property at at the private investor network, Hotbed, European CFO at Lend Lease and for 7 years he was Finance Director at Morley Fund Management, the global real estate fund manager. Julius is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has been a member of the Bank of England Property Forum and the BPF's Finance Committee. Having qualified with KPMG, Julius has held a number of senior finance positions in the property industry as FD at Berkeley Homes and Group FC at LET Plc, Annington and Regalian Properties Plc.

Andy Banks, Legal and General

Andy is an FCA with over 20 years experience in the financial services industry. Andy has worked in the property industry for the last 10 years including his current role as Finance Director for Legal & General Property which is the 4th largest UK based property fund manager. Prior to that Andy was COO, Property at New Star Asset Management with responsibility for the finance and operations of their international property funds.

Andrew Wilson, Land Securities

Andrew Wilson joined Land Securities Plc, as Business Development Director, in June 2006 and is responsible for the Group's corporate and property investment activities. For the four years prior to joining Land Securities he held the position of Chief Financial Officer and then Chief Executive at Global Switch, the international data centre property group. Prior to Global Switch, Andrew held the position of Corporate Development Manager for Chelsfield plc where he worked principally on property acquisitions and partnerships.

Robert Parkinson, DTZ

Robert Parkinson is a Chartered Accountant working as Group Tax Director for DTZ where Robert is responsible for all taxes across the Group. Prior to joining DTZ, Robert worked for Goodman and Hammerson plc specialising in corporate and joint venture structures and taxation. Robert has specialised in the area of tax and corporate structuring for property for the last twenty years, either whilst at Price Waterhouse, National Westminster Bank plc and latterly Goodman and Hammerson plc.

Caroline Snowden, JC Rathbone Associates Limited

Caroline Snowden joined JCRA Structured Finance in 2006 having worked previously for a German investment bank providing property advice and supervising due diligence in lending transactions. She was involved in providing senior and mezzanine property debt and in working with rating agencies to put together successful securitisations for clients. Caroline is a qualified surveyor and worked for one of the major surveying practices. Caroline is a Director in JCRA's Structured Finance area with specific responsibility for debt advice and structuring for clients in the UK and Europe.

Nik Shah

Nik Shah has over 6 years of property experience at Aviva Investors as Business Manager responsible for finance and operations for the Aviva Investors Real Estate business. Prior to Aviva Investors, Nik has worked at a number of financial services organizations including Deutsche, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs. Nik qualified as an accountant from Deloitte.

Jill is an assistant in the property finance team at Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP and has experience acting for many leading UK and overseas institutional lenders on a whole range of projects from straight forward acquisition finance to structured development finance, from construction projects to ground rent portfolio finance. Jill also acts for national and international companies, institutions and limited partnerships investing a variety of products ranging from shopping centres to residential development projects.

Andrew is a partner in the Banking and Finance Department of Nabarro and has represented lenders, listed property companies and sponsors in property, project and structured finance transactions. He also advises on bilateral and syndicated credit facilities on behalf of banks and corporate clients of Nabarro.

Peter Beckett, Ernst & Young

Peter Beckett is a tax director in Ernst & Young's real estate team. He joined the team recently from KPMG where he spent eight years working with corporate clients on international tax issues and more recently with real estate investors and developers on real estate transactions. Prior to that he worked at the Inland Revenue. Peter has extensive experience of advising on structuring UK and European property funds, financing transactions and capital gains tax mitigation strategies.

Antonia is an English qualified solicitor and practised at Lovells in London as a real estate lawyer from 1996 before joining Mourant in September 2005. She heads the European real estate business at Mourant and is responsible for the strategic direction of this area of the Mourant business. Antonia also sits as a director on the board of a number of real estate structures.

Robin Hubbard, CBRE

Robin joined CB Richard Ellis at the beginning of 2009 following a 20 year career in the City with NM Rothschild, ABN AMRO and NatWest. As an Executive Director he now helps run CBRE’s European investment banking business covering all areas of capital raising, restructuring advisory, loan & special servicing, derivatives and debt advisory. His experience covers all forms of capital from senior debt to equity, as well as LP investment interests and securitisations, for companies and funds domiciled all over the world.

Mark Davies

Mark Davies has over 10 years experience in the property industry. He started his property finance career with Grant Thornton before joining Pannell Kerr Foster (PKF) as a Partner and Head of Real Estate. Prior to joining NewRiver as Finance Director in October 2009 Mark was Chief Financial Officer of Exemplar Properties and Finance Director of Omega Land a £400m property joint venture with MSREF. Mark has experience in many areas of property finance including acquisitions, hedging, foreign currency, Onshore and Offshore tax structuring, managing debt finance on investment and development property including Bluewater shopping centre.
